preparation and research
Research is an incredibly important aspect of Model United Nations and it's a facet we're proud to promote at our Novice Conference. Every committee includes an extensive Topic Synopsis which provides an overview of the topic and a case study along with questions and sources to help spark your continued research. We can't stress enough how important it is you read the synopsis in its entirety. We also highly encourage all delegates to submit a Position Paper for each topic. The Position Paper format can be found here. Papers are due to chairs by 11:59 pm on April 20, 2021. Also, important conference information and procedures can be found here.
registration and costs
Given continuing issues related to COVID-19, the HB Novice conference will be a smaller virtual conference this year. Any schools wishing to register should contact program advisor Shaun Haney at firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration will end on March 24, 2021.
There will be no food service at HB Novice this year as it is an online conference.
